Kilt Pins

It was Queen Victoria who is said to have been responsible for the introduction of the kilt pin into Highland Dress.

She is reputed to have first taken pity on a young soldier who was clearly afraid that his modesty was being compromised in the high winds - by providing the means to secure the top apron of his kilt. She then decreed that all military kilts should have some means of fastening the top apron.

We illustrate here our full range of Sterling silver and plated kilt pins.
