If you order on-line we will acknowlege automatically. This does not constitute acceptance. When we have reviewed your order and can accept it we will send our acceptance, confirm any deposit that we will require and tell you when we expect to despatch. For stock items despatched immediately our confirmation of despatch will be our acceptance.Payment
Payment by Credit or Debit Card
For deposits we will raise a charge immediately upon acceptance of your order. All other charges will be raised immediately prior to despatch.We can accept payment by
- Visa or Mastercard
- Personal cheque in Sterling drawn on a UK bank
- Cashier's Cheque/Money Order in Sterling or in Euros
- Transfer of funds in Sterling or in Euros to our Bank in Scotland
- Transfer in other currencies by arrangement
We will provide our bank details on request.
The Price
Deposit
We will ask for a deposit at time of order for goods which are made to order or personalized. It is not refundable.Prices
Our prices are based on Sterling, but we also display prices converted to US Dollars, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand Dollars and Euros. If your debit or credit card is not in Sterling the card issuer will convert to your currency the charge we raise. The currency prices which we display are converted at today's average inter-bank rate.Currency
You can change the currency displayed by clicking on the appopriate currency sign. The currency we display is set according to the location of your Internet Service Provider, defaulting to Sterling outside the above areas.Delivery
Our shipping module has not been completed; until it is we will advise the cost of delivery on request if you tell us what you have in mind to buy and the delivery address.For a consignment up to £50 in value we will normally despatch by first class mail within the UK and by airmail to the rest of the world. For items over this value we will use a service offering higher compensation. Within the UK we use Royal Mail Special Delivery and to the rest of the world we normally use a Royal Mail tracked service delivered by the postal service in your country: Airsure or International Signed For, depending on destination.
Taxes
For delivery within the European Union (EU) our prices include VAT (value added tax) at the UK rate of 17½%. If delivery is made outside the EU our price will be free of UK tax and will not include any duty or other import taxes for which you may be liable in your own country.We do not charge VAT for delivery to the Channel Islands. If you have VAT-exempt status within the EU or require delivery free of VAT to a BFPO or FO address within the UK we will require suitable authorization before we accept your order.
